From the start, I knew that I wanted something from an Australian designer. I couldn't go past this gorgeous Drown x Subfusco necklace from Alegorie, made by the mind-blowingly talented Alicia from Sea of Ghosts.
The Fermi necklace retails for $229, and to make things even better, it's a one-off! It was produced as a collaboration with Subfusco for part of their SS11 Runway collection, Luminous. It's a wonderful, unique piece that would make the perfect statement necklace. I have some of the Drown earrings and the space prints are even more beautiful in real life!

What's the best Christmas present you've ever received?
For some reason, when I was about 13 I was ecstatic to get a Billabong cowboy hat - it was purple with a big pink star on the front (?!). I wore it pretty relentlessly for a couple more years and it's always stood out as one of my favourite presents because at the time it was just SO AWESOME (would not be so stoked to get it now, though). (So, on Twitter, my answer would go @lustable @gininateacup A purple Billabong cowboy hat (with a pink star on the front!) when I was 13. Not entirely sure why. #Lust4Xmas)
You have until 8am tomorrow (the 23/12/10) to answer the question, and please read the terms and conditions listed below to make sure your entry counts (also, please remember to tag or follow me - @gininateacup - so I can find your answer!).
Good luck!
