Would You Like Fries With That?

I'm not even joking when I say I want to buy this jumper (or sweater, for my American friends) as soon as possible.  Y'all know I love me as many novelty prints as I can cram into my wardrobe.

OKAY a Grill'd opened up practically next door to my shop so maybe I'm a little burger obsessed at the moment...

Check out more sexy sweaters right over here. These guys also do pretty rad skirts, leggings and dresses

{not a sponsored post... I JUST REALLY LIKE BURGERS}

Chantilly Lace

Hello! I haven't managed to take many (any) outfit photos this week so I asked Lisa to take some for me at Student Runway. Please excuse my overly beaming face, it was such a good show and I was still pretty excited! Okay and also I wanted to get home and rummage through my gift bag...

Vintage coat // Rodarte for Target dress via eBay // Black tights // Target boots // Vintage belt // Vintage bag // Pigeonhole bow ring

I bought this dress in the mustard colour ages ago, but I had ordered it a little too big and the colour looked pretty gross on me. So I passed that one along to my sister and re-ordered it. I've had this for a few months but it's just never been the right opportunity to wear it. They were actually pretty cheap - around $30 each? - so if you like the style, definitely hunt around on eBay!

I was a bit bummed out that my outfit on Friday night was pretty casual. I went straight from work to the WA Designer Collections and everyone there looked so stunning! I was a bit worried that this lace jacket would be a bit too over the top but NOT EVEN. This outfit was fairly tame compared to the looks some of the other attendees were sporting! My mum bought me this jacket ages ago and it's the best thing ever. I feel like an extra from Almost Famous when I have it on. I should wear it all the time.

It's been such a surreal week! When I started this blog I had no idea it would lead to me sitting front row in fashion shows (not such a stretch this year as there were really only three very long rows, haha) and walking in a runway show. I'm so grateful for all your support and for the opportunities that are being swung my way!

Student Runway: Contemporary Eveningwear, Eco Design & Costume Couture

Okay! Here's the second half of the incredible Student Runway show. These categories were my favourites; they had so much more room for drama and craziness. I was sitting next to Lisa and Donna and we had such good seats for photos! I was glad I brought a different lens too, because the detail photos are some of my favourites. And I just wanted to say a huge congratulations to the winners Amy Webb, Tim Watson, Nicole Frahn, Lauren Sims and Aqeela Isaacs (who also won the inaugural Liz Davenport scholarship) - they all deserve it so much!

CONTEMPORARY EVENINGWEAR

Student Runway: Carton & Ready to Wear

I took way too many photos again, so I'm going to split them into two posts. So today I'm going to show you the Carton collections and the women's and men's ready to wear, and tomorrow will be the contemporary eveningwear, eco design and costume couture. Woo!

Restyle Runway!

Argh, I didn't even go to that many events for PFF and my posts are already all over the place. These are some photos from the Restyle on the Runway event, which took place last Thursday. I was actually surprised at how chilled out I was leading up to the event... I took more of a 'head in the sand' approach, which was that if I didn't think about it then I couldn't imagine all of the things that could possibly go wrong (I had been a little bit nervous about having one of these moments). I didn't even pick out my outfits until 11pm the night before the show!

Anyway, I wore the skirt from this post, the dress from this outfit and this outfit, and the dress I wore on my one year anniversary with Aidan. I wore Target heels with the first outfit and op-shopped heels with the second. Oh, and an op-shopped bracelet (you can see it better here) and some new earrings I bought the day before from Pigeonhole and only chucked on at the last minute because they were in my bag and thankfully went with both outfits!

I really loved my hair and makeup for this event - my hair felt kind of mermaid-ish?! The make up was pretty fantastic too; I loved the pink lips! I didn't take my camera with me because I thought I'd be rushing around too much to really use it (and I was right) so I have to say thanks to the bloggers for letting me use their photos! Click on their names for full coverage of the show, there's some really lovely photos there!

AHH my face in that bottom right photo cracks me up. I look so bummed to be there! I promise I'm not! I was probably just thinking 'Don't trip don't trip don't trip'...

And I couldn't leave without showing you the other Restyle ladies strutting their stuff!

My beautiful friend Lisa! ♥
 {Nova FM}

L from Peanut Moonbeam Knickers (and her amazing new hair!)

Bonnie (how stunning is she?!) and the very stylish Kim

The lovely girls from Le Fanciulle (Steph on the left, Trish on the right!)

Gorgeous Shell and her AMAZING jumpsuit! I love how she styled it as well!

Beautiful Ally from The Vintage Valley - doesn't she always look like such a 1950s movie star? She's amazing!

Heidy ROCKED it down the runway! She was such a pro, I was blown away! And I loved this fringed kimono on Sharon from Sass and Spice

And the best part of the runway show was the two guide dogs strutting their stuff down the runway! In a PFF first, the show featured two visually impaired models who both looked like total babes in their op-shopped outfits. I couldn't get past the fact that the dogs were accessorised as well! So cute! These guys brought the house down and they were the real stars of the show. I was really proud to be involved.

Look at the pup on the bottom right with his fancy scarf! JUST LOOK AT HIM. So adorable.
{photos by Le Fanciulle}

Anyway, I guess this really will be my last Restyle post for a while! Thanks again to Renee, Perth Fashion Festival, Lotterywest, the op-shops involved and to all the people backstage at the show who were so lovely and encouraging! It was such a fun show to be involved with and I still can't quite believe I've walked down a runway! Now excuse me, I must continue my life as a ~model~
